NOTES: New PR by 43 seconds!!! I was so happy to cross the line in under 26 minutes. The course measured a bit short by my watch, but I would have PR'ed on this either way! 4th time running this race! I was sick and congested the entire week before.
36. Pride of Pooler 5K - Pooler, GA - March 2013: 26:24, PR, 8:31 pace
NOTES: New PR by 14 seconds!!! Garmin did not have time to connect to satellites due to early start time, therefore watch did not register until .2 miles into the race. I started off way too fast and burned out by the end.

NOTES: Very casual race, not chip-timed. Late start = hot. Course was pretty shaded most of the way, though. I took many stops. Course seemed off by .2 miles, so I ran that much to make up for it after crossing the line.

21. March of Dimes Shamrock Run 5k* - Savannah, GA - March 2012: 30:05, 9:42 pace
NOTES: My fourth time running this race. Fastest time for this race! Conditions were wet and rainy. Felt I had to be cautious due to the wet/slick roads. We were also pretty late arriving to the race, so I didn't have time to properly warm up!

NOTES: 5.5% grade bridge around mile 2 for about half a mile. Chip timed. New 5k PR. Around the end of mile 2, I passed a mother pushing her son to keep running.
